No Weekly Newsletter This Week

Sorry guys.

I finally broke the habit. But it’s for the best. One, I’ve got some personal things I’ve been dealing with lately. And two, there really hasn’t been any meaningful news between this week and last week, or any change in what I’ve been consuming (since I don’t think any of you would want to read about the same stuff I wrote about last week). Worry not, the newsletter will return once everything is sorted out on my end and I have more to talk about.

In the meantime, however, my pal and editor Jamie Paul published my most recent long-form essay on his American Dreaming Substack, called “The Yeonmi Park Question”. It’s an open question as whether it’ll be well-received, badly-received, or received at all, but I think a lot of you will enjoy it, so head over there and give it a read and leave your thoughts in the comments, even if it’s just a “Way to go!” or “You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about!”
